Hi, my name is Tami Lahey , I live in beautiful Colorado with my wonderful husband Tom and our adorable westie named Tiffani. I started Dolls N Dreams back in 1997 designing Fantasy OOAK Dolls. I was
honored to be a 2001, 2002, 2003 BMAA Crystal Award Winner from Barbie Bazaar Magazine, 1st Place in 2006, A Featured Artist in Jim Faraones "Fashion Doll Makeovers III" Book. And featured many times in Designer Dolls Magazine.
I have always had a passion for teddy bears and fairies since I was a little girl. All tender hearted people believe in them. Young and old alike have been collecting teddy bears for over a hundred years. They have always been a symbol of unconditional love and acceptance. When one looks into their black glass eyes, they'll see a loving soul staring back. They seem to make everyone happy.
I wanted to bring my joy of fantasy to the teddy bear. I had so much fun developing my own unique pattern. I named them "Fairy Doogles". Each one seems to have their own mischievous personality with curly toe boots, antennas & fairy features.
My Fairy Doogles have become very popular among collectors. I receive the sweetest e-mails about them from customers all over the world. The most enjoyable part creating a bear is knowing someone else will love him as much as I do. Teddy bear people are the most caring and sharing people I have ever met. They have made my passion of creating Fairy Doogles a living dream for me. I was awarded a 2007 TOBY Industry Choice award which was very inspiring as well. My creations have been featured in Teddy Bear & Friends, Teddy Bear Review and TeddyBear Club International Magazines. I am always at my best when I'm designing and derive great joy from creating a new soul.
